Lottoplace Exposed — A New Lottery Agent in Beta Mode!

Lottoplace.com – Will be Live in a Bit…

Launching an online lottery service, companies have to understand that players want to be confident that they are playing at a site that is trustworthy. Opening the website lottoplace.com, the first thing that catches your attention is the “Beta”. Less than a week ago, it was “Demo Mode – We will be live in a bit…”! Come on folks – launching a beta site where people can purchase tickets is just weird. Well, we think players can play already. No one on our team was willing to give a go. Let me explain.

Games at Lottoplace

Lottoplace.com is set up as a website where players can play six lotteries from around the world: US Powerball & Mega Millions, EuroMillions & EuroJackpot, Spain’s El Gordo & Italy’s SuperEnaLotto. Ticket lines can be purchased in single or multiple draws. The more the draws purchased the greater the discount offered. That part’s pretty straight forward. After picking your ticket lines, the system takes a player into registration.

Lotto Place and the Promotions

Bonuses and other promotions are great, but these folks have gotten a little carried away. Lotto Place “Frequent Purchase Points” (FPPs) are earned on tickets purchased and they say that FPPs can be exchanged for more tickets or cashed. User Class/VIP Level gives players “special treatment and privileges”. First time players are advised that the “Welcome Bonus” changes regularly, but “is very generous”. “Free line” and “Multi-Draw Discount” are based on the more you play, the more you get free or discounted. “Coupons”, “Vouchers” and “Refer a Friend” provide a variety of discounts and bonus grants. But – yet the big but – there is no further information on when which promotion kicks in.

Who Can Play at LottoPlace?

The only information on who can play is the fact you are a non-resident of the United States. What is really hilarious in their Terms and Conditions is the paragraph below that statement goes on about the fact the company is under “no obligation to maintain User names or passwords”.

Lottoplace.com – Who Are They?

It does get even better. It’s one more website powered by Lottotech. In Lotto Place’s “About” they go on and on about how trustworthy they are and they are here to help you live your dream. That’s about half the “About” us with the rest about their affiliate programs. The company that owns them is called Dreams Pay Ltd. out of Bulgaria.

Customer Service

They do offer a snail mail address – yes in Bulgaria – online form and email address. There is a little window that pops up that suggests they have live chat, but it defaults with an online form. In checking out customer complaints, it’s not surprising they don’t exist as this is a new site.

Would you mind rating LottoPlace.com ?

The Bottom Line

Folks – are you serious? Less than a week ago, they had that big orange sticker. They still have the word “Beta” linked to their logo at the top of the page. When it comes to playing lotteries through an online provider, it’s the details that count! Our team certainly would not recommend sending Lotto Place your personal and credit card details.

Pros:

Good Question

Cons:

Beta Mode

Promotions Details

Are they really live?

If and when Lottoplace.com lifts their “Beta” status, maybe we’ll take another look. The bottom line is there are a lot of great online lottery providers out there. It is all in the details!
